10 years ago, Beautiful You Hair and Beauty Day Spa opened its doors. We started with a small, passionate team and a big vision which is still much the same today: to empower women and encourage them to be confident, strong and powerful.
Wow, what a ride it has been!
We opened as a hairdressing salon and in our first year we added a luxury day spa to our services so we could offer a calming sanctuary for our customers. As women, we often put others first, so we wanted to create a space where we could make your wellbeing a priority.
I’m so proud of what we’ve created – we’ve grown and evolved, yet community is still at the heart of everything we do.
I would like to personally thank each of you for being part of our journey. We’ve achieved so much but we couldn’t have done it without you.
You’ve been there as we’ve expanded our services, as we’ve faced and overcome challenges and as we’ve followed our calling to help others through our charitable projects.
Creating a better life for disadvantaged women
Through our not for profit organisation, Training Ministries Inc, you’ve helped us to improve the lives of so many disadvantaged women.
Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to offer a brighter future to people in need and I wouldn’t have had the privilege of taking two members of my team – Sam and Mel – to Cambodia to see the life-changing impact the experience had on them.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you – it has been a team effort and we couldn’t have done it without your support and donations.
When I started Beautiful You, I had no idea where it would take me. It has become much more than a small business – it is my calling and I can see now that it’s through Beautiful You that we can create change in the world, one person at a time.

To our team of amazing staff past and present – you are the core and foundation of Beautiful You. It really is all about the people, and you are my people.
Sam our Assistant Manager/Senior Stylist/Make up Artist – you’ve been a rock for our business for many years now and we just love you!
Juanita our Senior Stylist – we’ve loved seeing your passion for customer service develop and your smile and energy light up the salon.
Courtney our Emerging Hair Stylist – we’re excited about your passion to be a hairdresser and we’re grateful that you’re launching your career with us.
Leani our Senior Spa and Dermal Therapist/MassageTherapist – you’ve added a new dynamic in our day spa and we love how you take care of our customers.
And finally, Danielle, Beautiful You’s Manager and Senior Stylist – you have been with me since day one and I feel blessed to have your continued support and friendship. We opened the doors together on that very first day, and we’ve built up the salon together as a team. I couldn’t have done this without you.
So, customers and staff, you’ve all played such an important role in our past and I can’t wait to see the exciting adventures the future holds.

What to expect in 2020
- We’re going on another mission trip to Cambodia in April! There will be plenty of opportunities to support us and get involved. Together we can make such a difference.
- We’re expanding our opening hours as a way to help our busy clients enjoy the pampering they deserve. We hate hearing that you can’t find the time to get your hair done or your brows waxed! Our new opening hours give you more opportunities to do the things that make you feel great inside and out.
